I was born in a small town in southern Mississippi, but I have traveled the world and completed a career in the U.S. Air Force. I am always exploring and learning new things. From the time I was a young man, I always had the desire to write. With my writing, I want the reader to know that I wish to light a candle in the darkness and hopefully enable others to enjoy life more.

First off I want to say superb blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior
to writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my
ideas out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes are usually lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?
Cheers!

In response to your question, I have to say that centering myself is an easy thing because I have practiced it for many years. Eric Butterworth used to say that life is a wheel – one can be at the hub (center) or out on the circumference. If one lives on the circumference, one feels really busy and run over…caught up in the circumstances. However, if one lives in the hub, it is quiet. When I take God’s hand in the morning, I am living in the hub. As to clearing my head, meditation and deep breathing can accomplish that quickly. Happy writing! Enjoy your day! 🙂

Hey there would you mind sharing which blog platform
you’re working with? I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m
having a difficult time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S My apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

My host is http://www.wordpress.com, which has free themes and lots of online guides. I used Mystique, which I modified, using the guides. It is mobile friendly. It is reasonably priced. There is a double layer of security if you have a smart phone. You might want to check it out. All you have to do is “follow the bouncing ball.” It is very easy to do. No coding knowledge is required. Follow your passion and blog. Write it down and get it out there! Happy blogging! Enjoy your day! 🙂
