What Now?

When a man has traveled far places,

Leaving footsteps on foreign land and distant shores.

When he has walked over lofty rugged mountains,

Wandered his valleys and fished his many streams.

When he has sown his seed, nurtured his offspring,

Spoken his thoughts and satisfied his thirst for knowledge.

When he has fought his battles, ran his life’s long races,

Feels his flame grow dimmer and the horizons of his vision weaken.

When dreams fade and hopes are but a study in futility,

And he no longer does for himself, but must rely upon others.

Growing older, feeling weaker,

Lapsing into periods away from reality — —

Feeling less and less like a man.

What Now?

Imagination’s Loss

The all-seeing eye of the magical camera has

captured all the world’s great wonders,

making them small to the eye.

Radio and television have aided and abetted in this invasion.

A mind fed such a rich diet soon loses its imagination.

A rose picked from the vine quickly loses its beauty.

We are so busy with our electronic gadgets in every form,

that we no longer see our reality.

Are you willing to pause in your pursuits to see this truth?

Reach For The Stars

Always reach for the stars!

If you only achieve halfway,

you’ll have gone farther than most

Because they failed to even try.

Add feet to your dreams and prayers.

Start by writing them down,

including a beginning step to make them a reality.

Synergy will be created thereby.
