What Now?

When a man has traveled far places,

Leaving footsteps on foreign land and distant shores.

When he has walked over lofty rugged mountains,

Wandered his valleys and fished his many streams.

When he has sown his seed, nurtured his offspring,

Spoken his thoughts and satisfied his thirst for knowledge.

When he has fought his battles, ran his life’s long races,

Feels his flame grow dimmer and the horizons of his vision weaken.

When dreams fade and hopes are but a study in futility,

And he no longer does for himself, but must rely upon others.

Growing older, feeling weaker,

Lapsing into periods away from reality — —

Feeling less and less like a man.

What Now?

  1. When I initially commented I appear to have clicked on the -Notify
me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on every time
a comment is added I recieve four emails with the
exact same comment. Is there an easy method you are able to remove
    me from that service? Thanks!

    • From WordPress IT assistance – for duplicate comments received because they checked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox issue:

The easiest way for them to remove themselves from comment notifications is by navigating to the following page when logged in to their WordPress.com account:

      http://wordpress.com/following/edit/

From that page, they’ll need to click the “Edit” link next to your blog name. Then, they’ll see the option to toggle the comment notification off. Here’s an example:

If they do not subscribe through WordPress.com and instead use only email, they can still update their subscription setting by using the Manage Subscriptions link at the bottom of the email as shown here:

  2. Hi, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has
some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick
heads up! Other then that, terrific blog!

    • Thanks. Thank you for your compliment. Glad you like my blog. My host is http://www.wordpress.com, which has free themes and lots of online guides. I used Mystique, which I modified, using the guides. It is mobile friendly. It is reasonably priced. There is a double layer of security if you have a smart phone. You might want to check it out. All you have to do is “follow the bouncing ball.” It is very easy to do. No coding knowledge is required. Follow your passion and blog. Write it down and get it out there! Happy blogging!
